CoughAssist T70 / Trilogy DC Power Cord Overview
The Philips Respironics CoughAssist T70 and Trilogy 100/200 devices can operate on both AC or DC power. The AC power cord is included with each device for operation with a known, working electrical outlet not connected to a wall switch.
The DC Power Cord can be used to plug your CoughAssist or Trilogy device into the DC port in your car/boat/truck. You can also use the DC Power Cord to connect the device to a 12 V DC lead-acid (deep-cycle marine) external battery. Simply connect the DC Power Cord to the DC power inlet on the back of the device. Once connected via the DC Power Cord, the external battery life will be visible on the display screen of the CoughAssist T70 but it is only an estimate due to factors like:
- Battery chemistry,
- Age,
- Use profile,
- External battery capacity.
